FileRecovery lets PC users locate accidentally or purposefully deleted files on their computer.
If you've ever downloaded a music file and couldn't for the life of you find the file location a few days later, you'll know the frustration of having a large hard drive. The same goes for if you delete a file you later decide you actually really needed. Much like other file recovery programs, FileRecovery can locate these deleted or misplaced files and recover them in short order.
FileRecovery's interface is large but quite easy to use. In fact, when you launch it the program immediately starts guiding you right through the file recover process. You can pick where on your computer you want to search for the file. FileRecovery even lets you search a USB stick. Once you've chosen where you want to search, you need to choose the search method. FileRecovery lets you manually search through different parts of your PC on your own or else will scan the specified location on its own if you prefer.
In fact, the only part of FileRecovery's search process that's a little dissatisfying is the length of time it can take to scan larger hard drives. Users should also note that this program's demo version only allows you to search and locate deleted files, but not actually save them.
FileRecovery is a competent and easy-to-use file recovery program for users of all levels of computer knowledge.
